Save Rural Nepal runs Sustainable Educational and Environmental Programs in rural areas of the Nepal, where help is needed most.
On April 25th, 2015, Nepal experienced a horrific 7.8m earthquake, resulting in over 9,000 deaths, 2.8 million people in need of humanitarian aid, and the destruction of 886,000 homes & 50,000 schools. It is projected to take a decade for the country to fully recover. In response to this devastating disaster, SaveRuralNepal was born to provide immediate aid to rural, hard to reach areas that were being overlooked by other agencies. SaveRuralNepal has since evolved into a formal NGO that focuses on providing educational and environmental programs to hard to reach villages still recovering from April's tragic event.
